While our core focus is on education, when starting The Cheese Maker we knew that what often stopped people making cheese was not having access to the products and equipment needed for home cheese making. Thus, an important part of our service is offering the cultures and equipment relating to all of the cheeses we teach in our courses.
Carefully selected and sourced for our course instructions and recipes, our cultures and equipment are available as individual items or as kits relevant to each of our courses. Our course and kit design aims to use as much of the same equipment across courses as possible, minimising your upgrade cost as you continue to do more courses with us or experiment with more cheese making at home. You will have an opportunity to purchase cultures and equipment to take home on the day of your course - after all, that's the best way to get started making cheese right away.
Of course, you don't need to be a student to purchase our equipment or cultures, but as they are designed to support our courses, our kits do not come with recipes or instructions.
We are pleased to offer a flat shipping rate of $10 for all online orders (Note that The Cheese Maker currently only ships to Australian addresses). Delivery method depends on location but is selected to minimise transport times and protect perishables.

We are also pleased to announce that our cheese making cultures, rennet & calcium chloride are now available from Little Lamont's which is at Swan Valley Central (Shop 7), open Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm and Sat 8am to 2pm. They are kept out the back so request them at the counter.
