Transfers and Refund Policy

REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY - COURSES:

Please select carefully as all payments are final.

Once a course date is selected, a $50 fee applies to course date transfers and date transfers are not permitted within 14 days of course date. You can however transfer a course to another party.

All courses are subject to minimum numbers (in the event minimum course numbers are not reached, you will be notified 7 days prior to course commencement). If your course is postponed by The Cheese Maker due to insufficient numbers, you will be given the option to transfer to a future course. If an appropriate date within 3 months cannot be found, you will be offered a refund. 

Gift Vouchers

If you purchase a gift voucher for a course with no course date selected, course credit will be valid for 12 months from date of purchase. If a gift voucher is purchased for a specific course date, the general course refund and transfer policy applies.

Note only vouchers with an 8 digit voucher number can be redeemed online. Please contact The Cheese Maker on 0412 260 876 or email (info@thecheesemaker.com.au) to redeem all other voucher numbers. 

REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY - PRODUCTS:

Our products are carefully selected for quality control and we advise you to select carefully. You may seek a refund or exchange for goods purchased from us if the product is faulty* or is supplied incorrectly. Requests for refunds or exchanges must be received within a reasonable period and you may be asked to substantiate your claim.

* Care instructions must be followed for cultures & additives and no responsibility is taken for unforseen parcel delivery or pickup delays.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

DISCLOSURE

We do not share your information with any third parties, but may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

PAYMENT AND THIRD PARTY SERVICES:

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, if you are not already familiar with their policies, we recommend you read the terms and conditions of their websites.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
